Webinar - Home Ed Basics

Sale Price: £20.00 Original Price: £25.00

Wednesday 15th April - 8.30pm

I will be recording the session for anyone unable to make the webinar live.

A webinar around home education, whether you are considering it or have recently started. Or you just want to come along and get some new ideas!

Why not join me for this supportive discussion around that very topic. A chance to ask questions about:

  • the many different ways home education can be approached

  • online schools, tutors (1:1 at home, in groups, virtual), home ed groups

  • unschooling and child-led/self directed learning

  • following the National Curriculum, qualifications later on in school life (GCSEs, A Levels)

  • how to set up your day or week, what curriculum/objectives/topics to cover, termly/year plans

  • what resources are available to use, both paid and free

  • supporting demand avoidant learners and creating lessons through play, nature, interests, creating ‘hooks’

  • Local Authority communication and yearly communication (what ‘evidence’ you do and do not need to keep)

  • current laws for home educating and proposed changes with the CWS Bill

I was a teacher for 12 years and have been home educating for 5 years. I also work as a Neurodivergent Family Coach and Education Consultant and support lots of families through deregistering and through their home education journey.
